Emmessar Biotech & Nutrition Ltd., was originally started as Emmessar Chemical Industries Ltd., on 17th March 1992 for manufacturing Super Speciality Fine Chemicals.
The Company succeeded in developing many Speciality Fine Chemicals in its own In-house R&D, which was recognised on 15th January 1996 by DSIR, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, New Delhi.
When there was a realisation that some of the Speciality Chemicals developed in our R&D and exported to USA & Europe were being used in Healthcare formulations, the Company decided to re-orient itself and enter the Healthcare business, which is poised for phenomenal growth in the coming decades.
